Our motel makes a great "home base" for vacationers to explore the Wallowa-Whitman Wilderness area, the Hells Canyon National Recreation area, and the Brownlee Reservoir area. Day trips offer a variety of year-round recreation opportunities, including hiking, fishing, hunting in season, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, or just sight-seeing. The once thriving mining town, Cornucopia, is now a ghost town. Horseback riding is available there. River rafting and jet-boat and float trips are available in Hells Canyon. Brownlee Reservoir offers great fishing and boating. We're central to all these activities and can provide information about guide services.
